In this she is aided by her former lover, Briareos, who has lost his body in war, to become a cyborg — a brain in an artificial body.

Plot Summary:In a technological era where the world is connected via a highly-advanced internet network, humans interact with artificial intelligence units known as Net Navis. Housed within PET handheld devices, humans and Net Navis coexist between the real and cyber worlds as friends and allies. Net Navis are designed for various tasks, most specifically battle against viruses and rogue Net Navis operated by net crime syndicates. A young boy named Netto Hikari receives his first Net Navi named Rockman and the two become an unstoppable net-battling duo. Together, they thwart the evil schemes of criminals like World Three and the Netmafia Gospel. The year is 200X, and everything electronic is connected by internet. In this world, there is no one, rich or poor, who does not own a PET (PErsonal Terminal), and there is not one PET that does not house a NetNavi, an AI Unit that has the power to delete Viruses and the like. Net Battles (where Operators battle their NetNavis) are popular in this era. That is where Operator Hikari Netto and his NetNavi and best friend, Rockman come in. Striving to become the best NetBattlers, they fight Net Crime and protect the net and real world alike from the likes of the evil World 3.

Plot Summary:The year is Universal Century 0088. Directly after the end of the Gryps War, Haman Karn and her army of Zeon remnants on the asteroid Axis begin their quest of reviving the lost empire of the Zabi’s, and proclaim themselves as the Neo-Zeon. With the Earth Federation as hapless as ever, only the Anti-Earth Union Group (AEUG) is able oppose the plans of Neo-Zeon. New Century Zero takes place a long time after the events of Zoids: Chaotic Century. Zoids are no longer used for warfare; instead the combative natures of both Zoids and humans are focused and contained by a series of battle-competitions and tournaments, run by the Zoid Battle Commission. The Zoid Battle Commission seems to be a significant power on Planet Zi, fielding a considerable arsenal of armed Zoids, orbital platforms serviced by their own launch facilities as well as orbital based weapons systems. It is not made clear in the series if the Helic Republic and Guylos Empire still exist, although the final battle upon the rusted Ultrasaurus, hinted to be same one in Zoids: Chaotic Century, could suggest neither were left and people had free rein to battle in old battlefields.
